My Journey as a  Honourable Secretary in Association of Surgeons of India,  Telangana state – A great learning with dynamic, academic and affectionate Telangana Surgeons and Michhami Dukkadam. TSASI will outlive everyone. Respect Seniors and Train the Young Surgeons MUST be our GOAL as an Executive.

4th TSASICON,ALL OUR ESTEEMED FACULTY AND DELEGATES. WITHOUT THEM NO CONFERENCE CAN BE SUCCESSFUL,EVERY RUPEE THEY PAY IS OUR DEBT , OUR RESPONSIBILITY  & DUTY IS TO GIVE IT BACK TO THEM .

First I thank you all Surgeons of Telangana from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to serve for 4 years and I thank National ASI because it gave me opportunity to be independent and serve you all. It’s really a great organization which allows leaders to come up democratically.  I am fortunate to have worked with 4 Chairmen of Telangana ASI and 4 Presidents of National ASI.

I apologise if I have hurt  anyone knowingly or unknowingly in any ways by my action, my talk or my thought. Please exonerate me with your full affection – michhami Dukkadam. It was all in the intention of making TSASI independent and academic and never personal.

I learnt a lot in 4 years which no Institute would have taught me. Learnt the difference between freinds and so called freinds but who double cross us, learnt to recognise people by their actions not by their words. Saying something and doing something by some is a learning experience for me. Having played as booster for Andhrapradesh in National Volleyball championship,I could distinguish between those who are trustworthy and those who are not. But we should respect everyone immaterial of their intentions but should be cautious.Above all our job is to improve academics without bias to any one whether freinds or freindly enemies.

I can never understand why some play around with candidates in elections. Wish they our members decide on their own rather than get manupulated and work for TSASI

Our real freinds anyway never ask us to please them. Constructive criticism should always be welcomed. I give credit to TSASI executives and 9 personal advisor’s who guided me in the last 4 years

Postgraduates were really my USP who attended all the conferences.

Covid was another teacher, taught us how brittle our life is and how our riches or power mean nothing. It taught us to be humble and forgiving.

I will be leaving the State Executive on September 26th, 6.00 pm, 2021. Please join us at Novotel, HICC and make VII TSASICON a grand success. WE DIDINT MEET FACE TO FACE FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS ,LETS MEET WITH YOUR FRIENDS. We have invited nominations for Orations to select unbiased and not by our choice. Faculty was and is rotated from different colleges and districts.

Some revolutionary changes we brought in the last 4 years.

1. 179 academic programs were conducted and all are available in our Facebook page.

2. 89 Postgraduate clinics were conducted with National and International faculty

3. ONE MORE NATIONAL GC ADDED.Above all not a single paisa was taken from TSASI account and made sponsors pay for them including the present VII TSASICON

4. Osmania was donated latest laser machine from the funds earned by it in TSASICON

5. TSASI Academic Hall in White House, Begumpet worth 2 crores will be a reality at some time or other, made possible by ASICON team conducted at Novotel. OUR ONLY DREAM – it should be registered in the name of TSASI and our future executive should manage and conduct academics there. Because individuals don’t last long but TSASI will outlive us.

6. Conducted PGCONS in rural segments like Khammam, Karimanagar, Warangal

7. Honoured many Senior Surgeons in the last 4 years.

8. Conducted many social service camps and rural surgery camps

9. Conducted 3 successful TSASICON’S at Shadan, Warangal, 2020 Online

10.We took care of our YOUNG surgeons with 67 hands on training sessions

We also donated PPE kits, Sanitisers, Masks to health workers in Osmania, Gandhi and MGM Medical college during Covid crisis. I thank our team of executives WHO ARE on TOP OF THEIR PROFESSION

There are many young Surgeons who are motivated  and want to become executives, we seniors should allow them to join. We should not have own choices . Free and fair entry to TSASI EXECUTIVE must be implemented. That’s how growth and change will usher in. Creating leaders or handing over the reins to the new and young  and not clinging on to power is great leadership.

We should remember greatness is’int given , it’s earned .

DO REGISTER &JOIN US ON SEPTEMBER 26th at NOVOTEL &ALL MUST ATTEND.

WILL SIGN OFF on SEPTEMBERth, 6.00 pm, 2021

Yours respectfully for Seniors

Lovingly for Friends and Juniors ,

JAGDISH

  1. TSASI has become an active academic body from being a dormant passive body under your guidance. Thank you.
