WE WERE CALLED MAD TO PURSUE ROBOTIC SURGERY WHICH WAS NEVER THERE IN TELANGANA 12 YEARS AGO. BUT IT’S BEING ACCEPTED NOW WITH VALUE BEING SHOWN IN MANY CANCERS. MANY SAID THEY WONT BUY NEW ROBOT AS ITS TOO EXPENSIVE, IT TOOK ALMOST A DECADE TO ACCEPT BECASUE OF BENFITS ESPECIALLY IN CANCER
Futuristic thinking of increased role of robotic assisted cancer surgery was once called MADNESS by our friends when our team initiated. True it made us poor with lesser salary and less payments as robotic surgery is expensive and there were nor many believers. And sometimes we worked with lesser pay scale because we wanted to adapt, refine and define the robotic assisted surgery.
We changed this thought process by conducting 9 National and international lice surgery workshops, by inviting the Surgeons and Gynaecologists to enter OT and see the surgery for themselves.
And then we visited innumerable no of cancer institutes and medical colleges across India from Hrishikesh to Chennai, from Mumbai to Kolkata including AIIMS, SGPGI, TATA, and many more.We took feedback from exemplary faculty in these colleges and hospitals and designed newer ports, newer techniques which makes Robotic Cancer Surgery SIMPLE AND REPRODUCIBLE.
